This session relates to the was asked to present at the 2017 Youth Conference in Morocco iEARN Project!
Session Description
Through a brief presentation, introduction and subsequent interactive dialogue that will also include virtual co-presenter(s), I will highlight the impact of Teach-Now’s innovative and globally diverse educator curriculum. By using digital /technology tools and resources in combination with virtually connecting educators and classrooms, participants will get an overall understanding of how easy it can be to infuse technology into their teaching to promote project-based learning opportunities for their students. These projects can easily address potential solutions to some of the world’s most pressing problems.
What will educators learn and be able to do at the end of the session?
Participating educators will
- obtain the knowledge regarding what can happen when they utilize digital / technology tools within their teaching
- connect and share success stories with other session participants regarding incorporating digital / technology tools into their teaching
- hear testimonials from both Faculty and Candidates that have been a part of a virtual, innovative, globally diverse educator curriculum
- experience a variety of examples of successful global, project-based learning initiatives that incorporate digital / technology tools
- create a digital / technology toolkit to implement into their teaching that encourages and supports the creation of global projects

- Do you know how to globally connect with other educators?
- Do you use digital / technology to globally connect your students?
- What does educator curriculum look like that incorporates digital / technology tools to encourage global connections?
- What can happen when you encourage digital / technology tool use within an educator curriculum?
- What are some of the benefits of being an educator that has participated in a curriculum like TN?
- How do you leverage global perspectives on a certain issue to develop sustainable solutions to common problems?
