Session Description

This session is for current iEARN Country Coordinators (or experienced iEARN members who wish to apply to be the coordinator in a country without current representatives). During this training, the iEARN Executive Council and Assembly members will review important aspects and responsibilities of the role of country coordinator, highlight resources and supports, and lead activities to get to know other country coordinators.

What will educators learn and be able to do at the end of the session?

This session will review the following roles and resources for Country Coordinators:

• Annual coordinator’s responsibilities (membership management, annual reports, teacher support)
• Channels of communication and networking
• Project submissions, Newsflash and iearn.org news submission
• Professional development opportunities and resources
• Getting to know other iEARN Country Coordinators
