Session Description
We will need a cannon to share the images of our presentation.
Social networks today have a strong influence on youth from diverse situations. They especially strengthen stereotypes that are still present despite various efforts to dismantle them.
The biggest stereotype is gender. This separates people into two large groups: men and women, assigning behaviors and characteristics that everyone would have to comply to regardless of religion, color, beliefs, culture, etc.
We want to show that we have the power to end this natural order and to change the way we see things, showing that it is not natural because not all cultures follow the same patterns.
What will youth learn and be able to do at the end of the session?
- Our Goals:
* That they are able to value themselves, and recognize the positive characteristics they possess that are not exhausted in a beautiful body. We hope to recognize in others these qualities and show that they are able to express them in an appropriate way.
* Demonstrate that young people are able to produce a change in the stereotypes imposed by the consumer market.
