Session Description

At the beginning of the school year, it is important to build strong communities and communication within your teams. This could be in your classroom or with team of teachers at your school. This session will cover fun and engaging activities you can use to get your team off to the right start, creating a comfortable and safe environment for everyone to make an impact in the team and society. 

Using the Play, Art, and Civic Education approach, the facilitator of this workshop will explain and demonstration numerous hands-on activities that can be used on your first day or throughout the year. These activities will allow students and teachers to get to know one another, practice communication and acceptance, and move towards a more harmonious and successful team. Participants will move, draw and maybe even sing! 

What will educators learn and be able to do at the end of the session?

- Form the iEARN team in your school.
