Location: Room 1328

Date: Friday

Time: 9:00-10:00 AM

This session is associated with a UN SDG!

Session Description

This will focus on minority population around the world and being more inclusive of diverse populations. The roundtable session will be an in-depth conversation that analyzes the diverse groups within our own communities and how they are included into our society. We will discuss what steps we as youth are taking to be more inclusive for everyone. Diverse groups include, but are not limited to, religious minorities, LGBT, and gender.

What will youth learn and be able to do at the end of the session?

This not only focuses on lowering inequality, but also allows to discuss peace/judgment and collaboration of all SDG's. Furthermore, since diversity is such an interdisciplinary topic, many will be able to discuss on this topic.
