CRISTINA BOSIO FERRER from Córdoba, Argentina, graduated as a Professor of Visual Arts at the Faculty of Fine Arts, National University of Córdoba. She has worked as a professor of Fine Arts in public and private secondary schools for more than 30 years now. Nowadays, she is also the Teaching Project Leader of Adobe Youth Voices and Adobe Lead Educator for “Train for Trainer.” She has a wide experience in training children and youngsters in artistic developments. She has been actively involved as a facilitator and tutor in Adobe projects since 2004, such as "Atlas of Diversity", “Aulas Unidas Argentinas”, “Encuentro en Las Escuelas”, Celebrations, etc. She was a teacher trainer for Cambridge IGCSE and AS Art, Design and Photography exams. She actively participated in the creation of and currently coordinates the Department for Visual Arts at the Lino Spilimbergo school and organized and coordinated the 1st National Meeting for Argentina’s “Adobe Youth Voices” in Córdoba. Cristina has lectured widely on the relationship between Fine Arts and Technologies and was a jury member at the Photography and Posters Section, 2013 Adobe Youth Voices Awards. A prolific artist, she has participated widely in art exhibitions in Argentina and abroad. In 2014 she received a Special Mention from the Rotary Club, Córdoba, for her “commitment in the teaching of Fine Arts to generate changes among youngsters, while encouraging group collaboration and respect for community service.”

Session Description

This ignite will show through 20 slides what ATLAS OF DIVERSITY, an innovative educational tool and project that can change your educational practice, is. We will talk about our project experience and how educators can work cooperatively and collaboratively between centers, covering common themes and thus showing cultural diversity in the world. Atlas is a site that aims at collecting the proper characteristics of each place starting from the criteria and the subjective vision of the participants.

What will educators learn and be able to do at the end of the session?

Session Goals:

Show the platform.
Create work cards.
Achieve a collaborative and exchange work.

ATLAS´Objectives:

The objective is to create an exhaustive map of multiculturalism and multilingualism in a process of mutual exchange and enrichment.
See the same elements from different points of view.
Foster the love for knowledge.
Create human and geographic networks.
